REGINA V O.J. [PROVINCIAL COURT, CALGARY]

O was charged with a domestic assault contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code. The allegations arose following a domestic between O and his partner were there were no other witnesses. O retained Calgary criminal lawyer Curtis Mennie who immediately set the matters down for trial and entered pleas of not guilty. Defence lawyer Curtis Mennie worked with O in trial preparations and on the day of trial the charges against O were withdrawn. O received no criminal record.
